So its basically just a composite of two images. One with hands and one without, placing one over the other then erasing in the desired areas creates a simple yet dramatic affect with a little practice!

Read my comment above :) But its basically just a composite overlay of two photos, done in photoshop. Can be achieved pretty easily with a bit of practice!
