Juvenile Black crowned Night Heron, These birds are out in the day feeding, but difficult to capture, They are one of the most "Intent and Determined to catch a particular fish that they Stalk"This year I did "My best" to get an Image, and this one, was my only luck, he sat in that same pose for five minutes, not moving AT ALL 20 RAW images all the same, then he flew away, the same happened with the Blue and Green Heron,s
Sadly After trying to understand, The City
had to Fix a Huge Pollution Problem, They had to choose to put a HUGE DOME over a Large deposit of Coal Tar a Metal Producing Plant "Made" We (Ontario Canada) have poor Pollution laws (to draw Companies from the U.S.and others to move their Factories into our City for economic reasons)
They come, and go leaving Toxic Soup which is our Drinking Water.They decided to cover the Coal tar with a Metal Dome (better than dredging due to cost) Well That is like a Teacher catching a Child chewing Gum in class, In the older days, as long as you got rid of the Gum you would stick it under the desk, ( same childish way as they did with the Deadly spill (this is only he tip of an ice burg )
(out of sight out of mind) also they are adding Concrete to many sensitive areas to draw tourists to eat french fries, buy pop and water bottles, then litter the garbage into Lake Ontario, I could go on and On, its funny our last Environment Minister was our Minister of the Environment, after The recent Election, The "Liberals won" She was Promoted to the Finance Minister, funny, she Just sold "Hydro One"
