A Hero

Heroes come in all shapes, sizes, careers, genders, and so on. Anyone who has the ability to put others before themselves shows courage and a heart bigger than anything in the world. Their acts of bravery inspire so many people. There are reasons that children are fascinated with firemen and it's because even children can see that these men and women are real heroes who go above and beyond what they need to do each and every day. They wake up the next morning and do it all over again. They never ask for praise. They do their job because it is what they were called to do. For their service, I thank them all.
