I visited Königssee some weeks ago.
I was very impressed when the boat stopped at a certain point on the lake and the driver took out his trumpet to show us the echo at this point on the lake. Everyone on the boat was quietly listening to him play a tune and then it would echo back shortly after from the walls of the high rising flanks of the mountains. Absolutely beautiful!
