Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was shot at POsto 6 in Copacabana beach, Rio de Janeiro.Time
I do love this photo as it takes me back to my good childhood. This shot was made at early bhours of the day, around 5 AM.Lighting
I had the image in my mind, so I got up really early and off I went to the last bit of Copacabana beach. I was staying at a freind's home as I no longer live in Rio and asked for her bike. It was winter time, even though Rio doesn't really know any winter, I took a light scarf with me. With no modesty what's so ever, I must say I love this image!Equipment
Canon 5DIII, lens 24-105mmL F:4. Tripode was the sand itself.Inspiration
The truth of the matter is that that beach can be one of the most beautiful sights of Rio. It has many post cards of the city, like the Sugar Loaf mountain for example which is shown through the wheel of the bike, so creating the image was an self-happening.Editing
I used Lightroom to post-edit it. Besides using the traditional details and lens correction, I just enhanced the colors. In my camera bag
AS I leave home for general shots, I have my dear Canon 5D III, my everyday lens L 24-105mm, 2 memory cards of 32GB.Feedback
I never get tired of reminding beginners to observe the light. Light is everything for us photographers. Become BFF of the light around you.
