Location
This photo was taken at a Friesian horse farm in Rye, NHTime
It was 6:44 pm.Lighting
No special lighting was used. It was about an hour before sunset.Equipment
Taken with my D7000, natural light, hand held, 90 mm, 1/200 exposureInspiration
I had passed by this farm many times and never seemed to be able to catch the horses in the field. On this day, there were quite a few of them grazing and one of the trainers saw me standing by the fence and brought this horse over so I could photograph him up close. These horses are quite handsome and very photogenic!Editing
I used Lightroom to enhance and On1 Software to remove some distracting background. In my camera bag
I usually pack my bag for the day and what type of photos I expect to be taking. Sometimes I just put a lens on and don't bring a bag.Feedback
After passing this horse farm on so many occasions and never seeming to be able to catch the horses out in the pasture, finally my persistence paid off and I was finally able to get the shots I had wanted for so long.
