Wow ... this is a truly amazing photo. And, it proves something I've always suspected about photography ... it's good to look down on occasion. Great shot!

Location
I took this photo while crossing the low tide in front of the St. Martens caves in New Brunswick.Time
It was about 11 am with the sun just coming out from behind some clouds. I happened to look down when the sun started dancing across the rocks.Lighting
It always pays to stop and look at things from different angles and at different times of the day. Light and shadows are constantly changing.Equipment
Nikon D90 with a Nikkor 18-105 lens. Hand held on Aperture priority.Inspiration
The light made the rocks come to life. It's they were dancing underwater.Editing
Just minor touch ups in Picassa. I mainly shoot jpegs as I don't have time to play around with RAW files. In my camera bag
The Nikon D90 with a Nikkor 18-105 and Sigma 70-300 with macro capability. I also enjoy using my Samsung S5.Feedback
Look at the same subject from different angles. Try to figure out what in the scene is really important. Most times less in the frame has greater impact.
