A sorbet-colored sky to soothe the soul, overlooking illuminated ridges across the Blue Ridge Mountains in Western North Carolina along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I went for a closer crop on this trip, as there were not many clouds to speak of looking south.

The sun's after-glow did create a nice tone in the skyline, that contrasted well to the Blue Ridge Mountains, in my opinion ;)
