This is a picture of a monkey's hand. I was awed at the striking resemblance it had to a human hand. The picture was taken when one monkey was lending its hand to another in order to help it climb. Sadly, the "helping nature" is a lesson that we humans have to learn.

Location
This Photo was taken at Manampalli Forest in Valparai.Time
It was take late afternoon, when i have finished my bird photography and was returning to my room where i was staying and suddenly i say this Bonnet macaque was sitting in nearby tree branch and was trying to help another in order to climb.Lighting
since it was late afternoon, the lighting was dull and since i was so close to the subject i was able to get my perfect shot.Equipment
This was Shot with Canon Powershot SX50 HS, a bridge camera with inbuilt fixed lens. no tripod or flash was used. Hand held shotInspiration
While i was returning to my room after a session of bird photography, i saw this Bonnet macaque sitting on a tree branch opposite to my room and it was playing with other Bonnet macaque's and there were about 5 to 6 of them there. suddenly i saw this particular Bonnet macaque was trying to help another to climb the tree by lending its hand, i was awed and surprised and took my camera and captured the moment.Editing
I usually don't do any post processing work, I did minor adjustments like correcting brightness and shadow with Picasa. In my camera bag
In my camera bag , i usually have spare batteries, and spare memory cards. since i often go into deep forest i always have mosquito repellent.Feedback
If you want to be a photographer and if u like wildlife and nature , the main thing is that always carry a camera with u no matter where you go , whether its a leisure trip, or a business trip, or a trip with your friends or family, always have a camera with you, because in photography every second is an opportunity, You dont know what happens when, an elephant can cross your way suddenly or you might see a beautiful landscape or a bird sitting very close to u . so always have your camera with you wherever you go. There are beauty and wildlife around you, look at it and capture it.
