Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken on our University's Gymnasium. This was during our Intramurals way back in 2015. I am a self taught photo enthusiast and I love taking this kind of pictures.

Time

This was taken in the morning, at the start of the event. The place was a bit crowded and I had to find the right place to shot it at the right time, at the right moment. I remember struggling with every shot I took because of the people walking behind and beside me. But it was all worth it.

Lighting

Actually I don't know much about lighting. But since the sun was at the left side of our gymnasium ( right side of the subject in the photo) I went on that side to capture her stunning beauty.

Equipment

This was shot on a Nikon D3100, 18-55 mm lens. No other equipment used.

Inspiration

The uniqueness of the dress captured my eyes and made me want to shoot it. But then when I saw the lady wearing it, it made me want to shoot it more.

Editing

I didn't do much post-processing here, except for adding a watermark.

In my camera bag

There are only a few basic things on my bag; the body of the camera (Nikon D3100), a kit lens (18-55 mm lens), charger, battery and memory cards.
