Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken on the sea front in my home town of Southport, Merseyside.Time
Being on the West coast the sun take sits time setting during summer, this was taken about tea time, 6.30pm-ish. in late August.Lighting
I noticed that the light was quite clear and vivid. Very strong, the cloud were not hindering the light.Equipment
Nothing particularly special, just a humble camera phone.Inspiration
It was a moment of relaxation that I wanted to capture for future viewing.Editing
The picture is untouched, with regard to post-processing.In my camera bag
Just a camera phone.Feedback
All I can say is don't take too many photos of the sun without a filter (like I did) as it can affect the quality of future pictures. I know from past experience. Also don't put the Sun directly in the middle of the photo, if possible get some of the fore ground in to give it some perspective. Personally, I like to wait for a clear view, free from people, animals, planes, boats, etc, so a bit of patience is in order.
