This is a composite project that I completed in school. "Bird Dog" is the name given to dogs that are trained for retrieving birds while hunting. I enjoy both the bird's and dog's expression in this image, I think they work well together.

This is a composite photo which consists of 2 images. Both images where taken in my backyard.Time
Morning sunlight.Lighting
The most important lighting information about this image is that both images needed to have similar lighting so the final image will appear to believable.Equipment
I hand held a Nikon D7200 DSLR camera with a 56-300 lens using natural light.Inspiration
During my Digital photography course at Lambton College we were given a project to make a composite image. So I decided to take images of subjects that I love to photograph. The dog "halo" is a family pet and I also love wild life and enjoy capturing backyard birds that come to my bird feeder.Editing
Yes, much post processing in Camera Raw and Photoshop needed to me done to create this final image. There are a lot of steps that cannot easily be explained. In my camera bag
Camera 1 or 2 extra lenses 1 or 2 nikon flashes batteries for flashes and camera charger for camera battery lens brushFeedback
The biggest advice I would give is to ensure the lighting is similar on each subject that you will be using in the composite. Also, research a user friendly YouTube tutorial to teach you how to amalgamate the images in photoshop.
