This was the scene about 5 minutes post-launch of the Atlas V rocket from Florida's Cape Canaveral. The left side of the photo shows the zig-zag of the initial rocket contrail, while a passing jet leaves a horizontal contrail across the center of the photo. Just above the jet contrail is the "Morning Star", while the remnants of the rocket's contrail just make a stunning sight in the early morning sky.
