Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Boston at the Common Gardens.

Time

This was taken about mid morning.

Lighting

I wanted the photo to show just how cold and grey it was.

Equipment

Nikon D5200 without a flash or tripod. I use high ISO to shoot most of what I shoot.

Inspiration

I was walking around, the Common Gardens, and I heard a lot of laughter. I looked over and here was this little boy running right up the middle of the bird congregation. Once he caught on that they will come back, he kept doing it. His laughter was so contagious.

Editing

I worked on the temperature a little along with some brightening. I usually try not to do any post processing. I like my photos to be as natural as possible

In my camera bag

Nikon D5200 along with an 18mm-300mm All in One Lens and a 150mm-600mm lense with a monopod.

Feedback

No real advice other than paying attention to your surroundings and where the sun is. Snow scenes can be tricky with getting just the right balance for the scene you are capturing.
