There's a beautiful little waterfall about ten minutes from my place, but because it's surrounded with shale cliffs, there's no place to get a decent shot most of the year as the water is too deep and fast. With it being such a dry summer I took the opportunity last week to trek out there and managed to cross the not too swiftly running river without falling in. Got a few shots in before it started to rain, hopefully it won't be my last trip out there before the water gets too deep to cross again.
