Location
At Red Sea, near Port Sudan. This is a WW2 wreck, an Italian cargo ship captured by English troops. Once captured the Captain order to manipulate the propeller axis´s seals and the ship shank slowly in the reef with all the load inside, no man died. Because it was plenty of bombs, explosives and war stuff there was no attempts to rescue anything so you can find a lot of interesting things inside, a real treasure for wreck lovers. If someone visit it in the future, please respect it and keep all as you find it.Time
It was the first dive in the morning maybe about 6:00, also it was the first dive in the trip. At that latitude the light is so strong at that time, the wreck is no so deep so you can enjoy a great spectacleLighting
Shot with Natural Light (unfortunately my camera sync time was too slow 1/160 to fire flashes in those conditions)Equipment
Panasonic GF-1 on 10bar housing, 8mm Panasonic FisheyeInspiration
All around this wreck is inspiring. Coming from stern I can see almost all the ship, when I see Gabriel alone with that great scenario behind him I really see the scale from the wreck.Editing
I only apply a small post processing B&W conversion, up shadows and contrast. In my camera bag
For underwater photo two gf-1 body, panasonic 14-45, panasonic 45 macro, olympus 9-18 and Panasonic 8 fisheye. 10bar hosing with 3 ports (dome for fisheye, small dome for 14-45 and 9-18, and macro port for 45mm) Two Sea&Sea YS-100 underwater flashes wired.Feedback
