This is the White House, so named because of the traces of white plaster still visible on the uppermost walls of the structure. This is the only major Anasazi ruin in Canyon de Chelly National Monument that is accessible to visitors who do not hold special permits, and are not in the company of an authorized Navajo guide. You can reach it by hiking down to the canyon floor from the rim (of course, that means you have to hike back up again). The round trip is about 2.5 miles, and well worth the effort.
