In the summer humming of traffic is constant around Crater Lake, and for every view there is a battle with hundreds of hungry tourists. Comes winter and Crater Lake becomes one of the most serene places I have ever experienced. It's just you and crunching of the snow under your feet, and all the magnificent views.
