Location
This shot was taken in my bird room here at home in NSW, Australia. She was the first baby to hatch from that breeding season.Time
I remember it was at about 7.00am after the morning feeding session. Something just lead me to take her picture, I thought she looked absolutely gorgeous. Who would have thought that something so tiny and adorable would grow up to become a Champion of the show!Lighting
The lighting was purely natural lighting from the window and glass door.Equipment
This image was taken with my mobile phone as this was all I had with me at the time. There was no planning, no thought process just hold the chick, point and shoot.Inspiration
Well, being a new comer to canary breeding it seemed like a good idea at the time to capture images of the chicks at different stages of their growth for future reference if needed. As it turned out this was the only little chick I chose to continue taking photographs of.Editing
I have not done any post processing at all as I still don't know how to do that as yet. I don't believe in all the Photoshop alterations that some people are doing with their photos these days. As its a choice, it is mine to take photos as I see them and Not alter them at all if possible. In my camera bag
When photographing, I usually carry a Canon 700D with a canon 75-105mm f4 lens. I also like to carry my Tokina 14-28mm F2.8 lens just in case I'm out after dark and the sky is calling for an image to be taken. Sometimes I'll take a tripod other times I'll take my jobi gorilla pod. Plus I am also playing around with a sphere lens.Feedback
I wouldn't know what sort of advice to give as I'm only learning all this myself.
