Location
It's taken in Karlskrona in the southern parts of Sweden on a little island called Saltö.Time
This is shot at the so called "golden hour" when the sun sets.. and it's shot in autumn so the sunset last a bit longer here in Sweden.. The sun is on the right side of the photo.. I like sunrises more somehow, but sunsets are nice too, and you get a really nice golden light on the clouds... It's special.Lighting
The sun is my friend, as I almost never use flash or anything.. and this is shot with a ND filter which I dont know how much it was set at, I think it was set to -8 stops or more.. but the sun is my best friend and photo assistant :)Equipment
This was shot with my old Sony A7 and a even older Canon FD 24mm S.S.C MF lense.. As I love playing with old MF lenses on my Sony.. There is acctuly a scratch on the lense which is in the clouds that I phoshopped :) hehe. I used my old Manfrotti tripod.. really cheap somethjing :) but it does the work if its not too windy, haha.Inspiration
All landscape photographers.. There's so many good landscape photographers nowdays I get afraid.. But also I think theres almost too much of the same style, ND and PL filter and 30 sec exposure and blank water, milky sky.. it's really nice.. but maybe it's a biiiit overused nowdays.. so I enjoy more "normal" landscapem photos nowdays.. and black and white landscape photographs can be beautiful.. Nature and other wonderful people capturing the moments and sharing them with us.. It's inspired by love ;)Editing
Yeah I increased saturation removed some spots from my old canon lense... It's just one expoure and only post processed in CAMERA RAW (best program ever) and some in Photoshop and Nik Software. In my camera bag
My main camera Sony A7 with a lot of MF lenses :) Minolta MD Rokkor 85mm F 2.0 Minolta MD Rokkor PF 50mm F 1.4 Konica 50mm F1.7 (sharpest lense ever.) Tamron 400mm F 5.8 Samyang 14mm Sony 28-70 Kit lense. (I'm a poor photographer also my equipment got stolen twice..)Feedback
Just go with your imagination, get inspired by other photographers, mix it with your own creativity.. Try to find your style, try to find yourself :) I'm a very spiritual person, so I think if you find yourself you will find your place in photography if thats your passion.. It's all about creativity, maybe this photo isn't the most creative, but I liked the view and the colours.. So find yourself, be yourself and nurture your creativity, surround yourself with positive people and don't be afraid.. If you find your photos good, you will spread positive energy around them and other people will find the beauty too..
