Location
This photo was taken while in Wales. I hiked about the hills and the waterfalls and this was up near the top of my favourite waterfall, Pistyll Rhaeadr.Time
This was a brisk early morning hike to the top of a waterfall, and along the way there were many smaller beauties like this one. This photograph was taken August 2 at 10:55amLighting
It was just reaching noon but on a very cloudy day. The clouds created a grey-er light that reflected nicely on the fast water.Equipment
This was very early in my photography and was taken by just me holding my iPhone 6.Inspiration
I'm a self taught photographer, and nature is my passion. I hiked around a lot of Wales and found so much of it beautiful, taking pictures of almost everything. When I saw the running water had beautiful movement over the coarse rocks, the framing just kind of clicked (pun intended).Editing
No, I don't have the equipment to do much.In my camera bag
Normally I have my Nikon Coolpix L340 20.2 Camera with a couple extra SD cards and my Pentax K1000 with 2 lenses. But when I was doing this photo, I owned none of that equipment, it was me, my phone, and my eyes.Feedback
Llanymanych has many brilliant and almost magical locations, and the nature all holds beauty. Capturing that beauty lays in your hands as a photographer, just use your spacial reasoning to put the beauty into a well framed shot.
