Mirror montage of the derailer on my mountain bike. Used an orange only preset in Lightroom.

Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in my backyard against the fence.

Time

It was probably sometime in the afternoon.

Lighting

Taken in the shade.

Equipment

I used a Canon t6i with a 18-55mm lens. I used a tripod. I used my mountain bike and focused on the derailer.

Inspiration

I was looking for something that I thought would look good done as a mirror image. It was taken for a weekly photo class that I was taking at the time. The weekly challenge was mirror image.

Editing

I used Lightroom to remove all of the color except for orange. I then used Photoshop Elements to create a mirror image.

In my camera bag

I have a 75-350mm lens, a Muse Lensbaby, and a 18-55mm lens. Try to always have my tripod with me now.

Feedback

For great mirror images, look for mechanical looking things. They make great mirror-images.
