Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken in Castellana caves, near Bari, in Italy.Time
It was taken in the late morning in a Summer day, when the light of the sun is very strong and traces lines in the dark of the cave.Lighting
I tried to underline the dicotmy between the dark of the cave and the light entering from a hole on the top of the cave.Equipment
I used a free-hand camera, my Canon 1200D. Lens 18/55.Inspiration
It's unusual to take photos from a cave. I couldn't miss it!Editing
I posted the photo as I shooted it.In my camera bag
I have just two lenses: a 18/55 and a 55/250. I hope I could add a macro lens soon.Feedback
Help yourself with rocks or ambiental supports when you don't have a tripod but you need it. A package of handkerchiefs can help for the right orientation of the camera.
