A short "dead end" street in the heart of the City of London, England. This is Spital Yard and at the end is No 7 now relatively dwarfed by the new high rise buildings that have sprung up around it. The little blue plaque on this house commemorates the fact that this is the birthplace of Susanna Wesley (nee Annesley) born on the 20th January 1669. Often referred to as "The Mother of Methodism" because her two sons John & Charles were founders of the Methodist Church.
