This was a self portrait, shot in my studio and was quite the challenge to get the focus dead on!Time
It was in the evening, one day when I was looking for something fun to do.Lighting

For this one I used my Canon 60d and a kit lens. However, the most challenging part was getting the focus set so it hit between my eyes. What I did was use my portrait stool with another smaller tripod on top. I raised the tripod handle to the height of my eyes, then set my focus on the handle. I then set my timer... ran and put my face right at the spot of the handle... carefully pushed aside the stool and tripod... and then posed. Took me about 8 tries to get it right.Inspiration

Finding your focus point is the absolute key to keep it from looking like amateur hour. Then take lots of shots!
