I have gone with canon over the years. I have many lenses from 28 1.8 to the big 500 f.4, My only zoom lens is the 70-200 2.8, I also have the 100 Macro 2.8 IS. I have both the 1.4 lll and the 2X III extenders and the 12 and 24 extension tubes. I use the manfoto and vanguard monopods and a Gitzo tripod. with wimberley and Jobo gimbel heads, and 3 different ball headsFeedback
At Bosque be there at just before sun up till dawn. I go around Thanksgiving time as that is when the geese and cranes are there in great numbers. There as so many chances for excellent photo opps. Just bring lots of cards and batteries. The weather can be mildly cool to freezing and snow.
