Behind The Lens

Location

This is a rose I grew in my backyard. The bush is called dream come true. It starts out yellow and red, then turns mostly red and then goes completely yellow.

Time

I took the picture early in the morning because I love to go out early for the sunrise and to get pictures of the dew on the flowers.

Lighting

The lighting was provided by God.

Equipment

It was taken with a Canon I think. I had a kodak before the Canon. I love my Canon. I did not use a tripod but used a ef 75-300'.

Inspiration

The beauty of the rose and it seemed like a perfect shot. I mostly take pictures of wildlife and nature. I also love taking pictures of my great grandchildren in action.

Editing

I edited it to crop only the part of the picture I wanted.

In my camera bag

I have extra lenses but hardly ever use them. I can usually get the picture with my 75-300/ I carry extra batteries. I take my camera almost everywhere. I sometimes take pictures of barns, old houses, and scenery as my husband and I travel down the highway.

Feedback

I mostly take pictures at the instant I see something I like and then bring it home and look at them and edit them (mostly cropping) to get the shot I want. I take lots of shots and will usually get one or two I like.
