Behind The Lens

Location

My husband and I were driving through Jasper National Park on our way to Banff and this scene literally presented itself to me. I couldn't resist and just lifted my camera and shot the picture.

Time

This photo was taken at 9:48am in Autumn.

Lighting

All natural light, but with it being autumn, it was still partly on the darks side.

Equipment

Handheld, Canon 60D with 18 - 135mm kit lens

Inspiration

The light and shadow just begged for the photo to be taken.

Editing

I did a little cropping and spot removal in Lightroom. Played a little with the basic sliders adjusting darks, lights and clarity.

In my camera bag

Canon EF-S 55-250MM F/4-5.6 IS STM TELEPHOTO ZOOM LENS EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS and a nifty fifty, also spare SD cards.

Feedback

My tutor told me "Shoot all the time. The best camera is the camera you have with you"
