Location
This photo was taken in Yellowstone National Park. My friend decided to do yoga after we went canoeing around the lake.Time
After our trip around the water, we took a stop to stretch out and relax. Around sunset was the best time to end our trip because later we had dinner near the lake. The time and surroundings really helped out with the photo process.Lighting
I took this image to show the beauty of the whole day. The lighting from the sunset really helped out because it shadowed the water from the edge of the lake perfectly. It also contrasted my friend perfectly.Equipment
I took this image with a Canon T5I and noi tripod was used.Inspiration
What inspired me to take this photo as that my friend and I had a great day and I needed a photo to express that. I have always been inspired by water photography and using lighting to manipulate a moving object.Editing
There was no post-processing for this photo, mainly because it was spontaneous because I didn't expect the lighting to look as perfect as it did along the water and against my friend. In my camera bag
In my bag I normally have my canon T5I along with a 75-300mm lens along with a few filter lenses. Recently I have added my old grandpas film camera along with film to go with it. I also bring my tripod, a cannon macro lens and a fish eye lens.Feedback
For anyone who is wanting to take a photo I would say to go out on adventures and take photos. You never know when the lighting is going to be perfect so always have a camera on hand. Sometimes a tripod may be needed so if needed keep it on hand. Lighting wise, move around and find the right angle where the lighting hits your subject perfectly.
