This photo was taken on one of my many walks in my neighbourhood. I always stop to smell, I mean take pictures of the flowers.Time
This was probably taken around noon. I would have walked up to the mall around 10 when it opened and always came back just before lunch.Lighting
This was all natural sun light with about 5 different bees buzzing around while I tried to get a pollen shot.Equipment
No fancy equipment for this one. Just my plain old iPhone camera. I’m thinking it was my 6s at the time.Inspiration
First it was the pretty Hibiscus flowers. Then I noticed bees flying around and going in and out for the pollen, so had to try and get a picture.Editing
No post processing or filters or editing. Just a straight on picture.In my camera bag
I usually try and carry my Sony Cybershot for pictures but sometimes I’m caught without it and have to use my cell.Feedback
Patience. It takes time to get a shot. Don’t be afraid to take a bunch of shots to get the perfect one. I had about 20 shots before this one.
