Location
This shot was taken in my back yard which is in East Texas. The flower is from a Mimosa Tree. The butterfly is one of the ones that graces me with it's presence from time to time.Time
It was taken in the early afternoon on a sunny spring day.Lighting
Lots of natural sunny light was my source of lighting.Equipment
I used a Canon 60D camera with a 18-55 lens it was taken hand held.Inspiration
I love nature and post processing. I like to use my imagination to come up with different kinds of art.Editing
I also used Photoshop to blend the shot of the butterfly and the flower together and the Topaz Glow filter as well.In my camera bag
I carry the 18-55 lens, the 100mm macro and the 75-300 and the wide angle lens 10-18. I carry a cleaning cloth and a small tripod as well as extra battery and remote control.Feedback
Use your imagination I enjoy the post processing as well as taking the shot. Of course it is always important to start with a good shot.
