Love this boxer face. We have a few boxers in our family and live the breed.

Behind The Lens

Location

Helping move my cousin, Caschis the Boxer kept sitting in front of me hoping I’d let him. So finally I started to pet him and i had a lightbulb moment stop moving boxes and get my camera

Time

This was taken about 3pm and he was laying at my feet in the kitchen I got on the floor with him and started to photograph him.

Lighting

We were in the kitchen and the natural lightning on his gorgeous face was highlighted beautifully by the sun and it too much to not photograph him

Equipment

At the time I had a Canon 60d and just used natural lightning and I believe my 70-300 mm lens

Inspiration

The way the sun hit his beautiful face inspired me to photograph him, he’s a beautiful dog and I love taking photos of nature and animals

Editing

I do not edit photos besides cropping. I truly Belueve that the majority of photographs today are being so processed and edited it’s so not the true image . I love the straight out of camera photo. I captured that moment, not a perfectly edited moment

In my camera bag

My Canon 70D,, lenes 70-300mm, 18-55mm nifty fifty , external flash and that’s it . It’s a hobby and I’d love to get some expensive , better glass but can’t afford it at the time. Dream lens would be an 85mm, 70-200mm, And maybe a macro. One can hope and dream

Feedback

Just kept taking photos. You don’t have to edit photos to have an amazing photo and truly practise makes perfect. You don’t need expense lenses and or top of the line camera . Be inspired and take photos when you see a moment that inspires you Unedited moments in the true moment are the best in my personal Opinion
