In such an iconic location that seems to be photographed day and night its hard to find a new take. The Church of the Good Shepherd is interdenominational and regularly hosts services from three different faiths.
On the day this shot was taken the lake was quite low, and upon exploring the shoreline this small structure was found. The shape reminded me of an oriental christian structure, and so I had my new take.
Getting down low I used this small rock formation as my focal point. The fog that covered the church added the sense of mystery I was after...
