Location
I took this photo in the gardens I was able to grow in as we lived in a rental property at the time. The Butterfly Weed plan was one I loved, so I transplanted it from former location. Besides loving gardening, I began shooting back in the early 1970's in Los Angeles are where I worked for a recording studio and had access to many back stage passes. As for this shot, I was outside with my camera and saw this plant with the long legged spider on it. I took several shots and decided this was my favorite.Time
Early mid day...Lighting
I most usuallt shoot with natural light and use manual setting to get the sharpness and depth of field that I want.Equipment
Nikon D610, Hand held, not sure at this point of any other info!Inspiration
I love nature in all it's forms and this just fit into that loving sensation.Editing
No post-processing. I hardly ever use post-processing as all of my original shooting was done with film or slides and I had to learn how to shoot without being able to "see" what I shot on these new digital cameras. In my camera bag
Several lenses, some zoom, some macro. Lots of filters and magnifiers, lens cleaning stuff, attachable flash unit, extra batteries.Feedback
