A simple set of outside stairs or an escalator doesn't have to be boring! An architect in Vigo, Spain has designed the all-weather cover for this escalator to stand out with its bizarre shape and vivid red colour. The photo was captured just as a young couple set foot as the bottom of it, the man is wearing a bright green sweater which contrasts brightly with the red of the escalator roof in what would otherwise have been a drab, concrete means of conveyance now made interesting and lively.
