I had this vision for this photo but was waiting for some beautiful clouds in the sky. When I saw them we all hopped in the car to capture this as the sun was setting.Equipment
This was shot with my Canon 5D mark iii. I used a Canon 24-70 mm 2.8. This was all natural light.Inspiration
My husband was a pitcher for my youngest son's team and he also has a baseball room so I wanted to capture this moment to hang on his walls.Editing
I did some exposure tweaks in LR and played with camera calibration to make the colors pop in the sky.In my camera bag
I shoot with a Canon 5D markiii. My favorite outdoor lens is the Canon 70-200 mm 2.8. I love to shoot my silhouette with a 24-70 mm 2.8. For my indoor studio sessions, I have my Sigma Art 35 mm 1.4, and the 100 mm macro.Feedback
My biggest silhouette tip is to get low as a shooter. I have my family on a hill here and I look for spots where we can get above the tree line and free of electric lines, etc.
