Location
I took this picture in the middle of my bedroom floor.Time
I believe that it was late in the evening.Lighting
Take a light source, like a flashlight, and try different angles against your subject. This may help you discover those eye catching images that drawls back your viewers and will also help expand ones creative ability.Equipment
Nikon D7100, 1000 lumen handheld flashlight, 16-85mm 3.5-5.6G ED DX lens.Inspiration
I enjoy macro photography and all the tiny intricate detail and then enlarge and share the small things in life.Editing
I did some post processing in Lightroom. Some basic tweaks to brighten the colors and a little contrast to pop the subject from the background. In my camera bag
Nikon D7100, tripod, sb700 speedlight, remote and wire trigger, various lens filters (ND, cross star, etc.), 16-85mm, 70-200mm, 50mm, 18-55mm, flash diffuser.Feedback
Be inspired and don't be afraid to try things that may or may not have been done before. I enjoy viewing other photographers work to derive some of my own ideas and to finally make the end image uniquely my own. Combine objects and study it through the lens before pressing the shutter button. There is a big "little" world out there and in our busy lives it's easy to miss. And Macro photographers help to make that world more visible!
