Taken in beautful Togean Islands, Indonesia, 2012. My passion is photography and these amazing islands is perfect for taking great shots.Time
This photo is from Pulau Kadidiri in Togean Island. My first morning after breakfast walked down to the beach and I was stunned by the amazing view. Its a very small island and where i stayed there was only one place to stay at, and the beach was no more than 100 meters. I instantly saw what I saw and grabbed my camera and took the photo. It was around 10-11 in the morning and one of the best mornings on that trip.Lighting
This day the sky was almost clear except for the clouds in the background. it was a perfect sunny day, but not too sunny, or not to bright. So that the natural light just did the work for me.Equipment
I used my Caon 5D mark II and my favorite lens; Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM. That's about it!Inspiration
What inspired me? Well everything. The stunning view was something I just had to capture. I've heard that these islands was a photographers dream and I've had heard right. The beauty of the nature, the silence, the sunny days was more than enough to get inspired.Editing
I used Lightroom for this photo. I prefer to use lightroom because it's very easy to edit photos in that program and normaly I try to post-edit my photos as little as possible. In this photo I have enhanced contrast, adjusted white balance, brightness, saturation. I have also cropped and centered it.In my camera bag
Mostly I use my Canon 5 D mark II and my favorite lens 24-70. That lens is great for all around photos and I prefer to use it. What's more to find in my camera bag? Lets take a look. There is a 24-105mm f/4L and 70-200mm f/4L lens. I also have a small Leica D-lux 5. My Leica is great when you don't want to carry the heavy stuff!Feedback
It's not hard at all to find inspiration to get great shots at a place like this. Simply open your eyes and let all the beauty around you fill you with inspiration. One of the most beautiful places I've been to. And the inspiration comes to you..
