Took this photo in Bali Indonesia from Uluwatu temple premises. Looked at the ocean from above and got mesmerized by these crashing waves. There is a funny story behind this shot. I was leaning in a wall to take some photos of the ocean and didn't notice a monkey came near me. It snatched my glasses from my eyes and broke it. Thankfully it didn't aim for my camera. Monkeys there are dangerous.

Location
The photo was taken in Bali, Indonesia. I was on a family trip and was totally a beginner photographer.Time
When I took the photo it was kind of an odd time for perfect lighting. It was 4:00 pm in local time.Lighting
I wanted to capture the bright blue color of the ocean and the net like waves. Thought it was quite bright but the lighting was perfect for the photograph.Equipment
This was a shot on Nikon D3200, 18-55mm Lens.Inspiration
Bali is a beautiful place. It was the first time I went there on a family trip. The vastness of the ocean. the blue color, the waves, the cliffs all these natural beauty inspired me to take this photo.Editing
I enhanced the clarity and the variance a bit.In my camera bag
I carry Nikon D3200 camera body which is totally a beginner's camera and I can't afford a new one so I concentrate on buying lenses when I got some money. I usually carry a Nikkor 35mm lens and Nikkor 55-200mm lens as I prefer shooting landscapes, seascapes and nature. I also have two other lenses and often carry a tripod too.Feedback
Bali is a beautiful place to take the photographs of the ocean. I took this photo from the above of a cliff. This kind of seascapes can be taken from high elevation like cliffs or nearby hills. Also any seascape is beautiful if you get the perfect light and the right framing.
