This photo was taken in my friend Gary's studio in San Antonio. Originally there was going to be a photoshoot meetup with Kaya (the model) but there wound up no being enough interest. Gary and I really wanted to work with her, and she had already carved the time out for the meetup, so we made it happen.Time

The goal for this part of the shoot was drama, and dramatic lighting. Kaya was a pro and knew exactly how to express the emotions I was looking for. For this part in particular the goal was passion.Equipment

This was my first fine art nude shoot, and I knew the challenge would be to make it have a "classy" look, as opposed to just a good picture of a beautiful naked woman. My first instinct was to go for a sensual, and passionate feel.Editing
I did some minimal post-processing. Minimal mostly because at the time I didn't know much about photoshop. I removed some stray hairs and threw on a black and white layer.In my camera bag

Finding the right model is key. Its easy to find a beautiful woman who wants their photo taken, but the trick is to find a model who has a proven track record of showing the range and depth of emotions you want in your images.
