Front Door White Wash

While visiting the rural town of Victoria, TX I went for a walk through some of the older neighborhoods and was entranced by the character of the aged, worn, humble buildings that spoke of long, full lives lived. This picture of an old front door stood as a narrative metaphor of decades of family activity in and out of the home and community.
