We were bored - Hurricane Irene had caused a power outage for most of the day - and so we decided to goof around taking photos with long exposures and available light only (weak daylight, candles, LED torch, and battery-powered strobes). Strobist info:
Shutter speed: 25 seconds
Aperture: f11
The subject was lit using a manually-triggered Nikon SB600 zoomed to the max by me with a white sheet draped over me and constantly moving so as not to appear in the photo. It was fired three times while the subject leaned forward progressively.
Yongnuo flash with a red QSW filter ("Quality Street Wrapper"!) on the floor behind the door to the left, triggered by eBay trigger
The streaky light was from a LED torch being waved around slowly by my assistant, also draped in a white bedsheet
