Getting a pass to "The Wave" is extremely difficult. This photograph was captured during the holidays only a few days before Christmas. One of the best presents I could have received. It was still pretty early in the morning as the sun started to shine on the sandstone walls with nice shadows. As I was composing the photograph this gentlemen entered the scene. He was elated with outstretched arms to be standing in the middle of "The Wave". It truly was a great day and wonderful experience that some may never have the opportunity to visit.
