Well crafted image. Is it HDR?

yes I used Fusion.2 just to bring out the details and midtones

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo whist travelling through Fife in Scotland i just love the small fishing villages around East Nuke and Pittenweem is one of my favourites

Time

i was walking around the harbour early afternoon wanted to try and capture the reflections of the fishing boats in the water as it was a clear sunny day

Lighting

as this was early afternoon had to be aware of where the sun was but trusted the cameras meter and wasn't disappointed

Equipment

taken with a Sony A100 with 18-55 kit lens

Inspiration

just walking around and what ever looked a good composition i saw the reflections and i made the photograph

Editing

this was a jpeg file and i used the Fusion program to adjust the image contrast and mid tones and clarity slightly

In my camera bag

now I have changed my equipment and have a Fuji X100S and a Fuji X10 as they are lighter to carry but still give excellent image quality

Feedback

just wander around your chosen area and look for pleasing reflections in things or images that you like and enjoy photography
