Location
This photo was taken in the city of São Francisco Xavier, which is in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It is a mountain location and I was actually in a group of photographers to take pictures of a monkey, called muriqui, which is the largest primate in the Americas.Time
We had spent the night in an inn and very early, very cold, we left for our expedition. Breakfast taken. On the way we come across these waterfalls. The photo was taken in that part of the day, I believe around 10 in the morning.Lighting
The light was great, because, in the middle of the forest, it was very diffuse, which facilitated the capture with a relatively long time in the exposure.Equipment
At the moment I was using my Canon EOS 5D Mark III, with the kit lens, 24-105 mm. I also used a Manfroto tripod to stabilize.Inspiration
I have always liked the forest and waterfalls. At the time of the photo capture, the forest was silent. We only heard the sound of running water, within a moment of peace, serenity and contemplation.Editing
I used small light adjustments in Lightroom. In my camera bag
Well, I have two machine bodies, Canon brand, the EOS 5D Mark III and also a 7D. I have several lenses, like the 24-105, a Sigma 50mm and a 12-24, another Canon 70-200. I always carry this equipment with me.Feedback
Always go out to shoot with prior planning.
