Behind The Lens

Location

All my series "bubbles" was taken inside, at home, in the studio; in opposition to my often associated series "Ecume" made so much less dry & comfortable in outdoor.

Time

When I work in the studio, it is usually the evening.

Lighting

-

Equipment

This shot was taken with a Nikon D90 mounted on tripod manfrotto. I did not use flash: I chose to use a single LED lighting. macro lens of the Nikon brand.

Inspiration

I work serially. This photograph is from a series called "Bubbles".

Editing

work done in my studio. for installation is the "DIY-home" no or almost no post-processing. Sometimes a slight crop but it is rare especially for shots taken in the studio. I confess I do not remember this picture.

In my camera bag

I use my old Hasselblad 500C every day. Nikon SLR also accompanied me but in the end it's still my Blad often equipped with a 150mm wins ... certainly not practical, the Hasselblad is not only a myth but it's mostly a pleasure to use if only to hear the outbreak of the unit after turning the crank... and the result is one that I like most...

Feedback

My bubble series is based - as always - on observation. Or how I can complete the theme that I treat. Then situational studio, choice of lights, cradrage, adjustment and it should be finished: I do not like the image processing as I try to avoid them. In fact it is no surprise: the picture is thinking ahead.
