Lost Gramma at Dust It was a family adventure to Ammonite Falls, in Nanaimo, for none of us had ever been to see the falls. We brought Gramma along because she really wanted to go, but she seemed to have trouble keeping-up, so the son-in-law, bless his heart, stayed behind and walked slowly with her as we ran ahead. We had come near dusk for that better photo-op. So off I went ahead with our daughter and her finance to the falls, took a few pictures quick, and headed back to check how far Gramma and her son in-law had come along, but they seemed to have just disappeared! They had taken what they thought a short-cut back to the vehicle and got lost. We were so worried and didn't know which way to search, and it was starting to look like this photograph, as the fog started to set in the forest at Ammonite Falls! Thank goodness all went well and we finally found them. Although an adventure never to be forgotten, especially by my husband lolTime

Let the breeze come to a moment of stillness, in the hour of dust between 4:30-5:30pm in this area of Vancouver Island during the month of November where the damp cold brings a misty appearance through the woods.
