Bay of Biscay is the most feared sea by the sailors. Ships going to the Mediterranean chose options like the French river rather than taking the route from Biscay Bay due to the legendary reputation of the bay. I passed it many times in my carrier mostly because i had frequent route from W. Africa to North Europe but the last time i was passing this picture was made . In rough weather like this you can really feel true seamanship.

Love the shot I think shooting it at 1/50 was a great choice adds a sense of movement as the ship crashes into the sea

This is a phototure few people ever get to see...The viewpoint from the upper deck...while seas are rough. It gives you a better perspective of what is endured by the Captain and Crew. Thanks for sharing...Great capture!
