Punchbowl Falls, Columbia River Gorge, Oregon. Many people walk right by this falls without ever seeing it. It takes a bit of effort to find it.....you have to climb down a fairly steep hill to the river, then wade out into the icy water before you can even see the falls. The water is freezing because it is snow runoff from Mt. Hood. But the view is worth it!
This photo was taken in May so all the green foliage was at it's peak.
