Eagle Falls, Skykomish River, along Highway 2, Washington

A photo can't portray this falls as wild and dangerous as it really is. This was taken in early April when the river was high with the spring runoff. I had to scramble down the bank, then balance myself along rocks and climb over fallen logs to get to this point in the river. Notice how the water has carved the rock on the left. It's a falls that is beautiful from any angle.
